Company: TRENCHANPLASTS

Owned by: Pranita Mehta

Aim :

to design a model to quench thirst in a eco friendly manner.

To be kept in mind:

portable, handy, durable and ECO FRIENDLY.

Abstract:

thinking eco friendly, aiming to quench thirst at the very first strikes going for a substitute for the plastic bottles. Trying use of coconut shells, bamboo, waterproof fabric..seems happening. But we went to the side of actually making the eco friendly water storage containers or pouches.

Idea 1: TREEPLAST

Mixing waste wooden chips, ground corn and natural resins called the fasal composition, and plasticizing it under high pressure and heat produces an ecofriendly, durable, cost effective, no shape restricted and a plastic of natural appearance.

Idea 2: STARCHPLAST

Now this is a total homemade recipe to make plastic from starch.
Using starch from potatoes, corn or wheat, vinegar, baking soda, agricultural byproducts and glycerin, you can easily prepare plastic that is as good as the plastic we use but also is totally degradable. The materials are easily accessible and cheap.

Idea 3: METAL-FELT BOTTLE
Use of aluminum, steel and other alloys in a variety of volume packages to make water storage containers gives durability, portability, cheap rates and ease to hold. They can be refilled.
Covering these canes with felt gives it insulation which helps keeping the water cool.
